Summary:

Tensions between Russia and US are at a breaking point. The West continues to add defensive units to its NATO partners across Eastern Europe, meanwhile Russia is flexing its military strength by adding more military units and declaring previous Soviet land will be annexed.

A Russian defector has been hiding out in Zargabad, in talks with the US to provide sensitive military documents in trade for a life in the United States. His cover has been blown and the Kremlin is furious, dispatching forces to the city, creating roadblocks to sweep the city for the defector -- it's only a matter of time.

We're two groups of UN Peacekeepers, sitting in the UN Safehouse, just outside Zargabad. NATO Command has requested we observe the situation and report back any hostilities as they've received notice the US military attempting to extract the Russian defector.
