I’ve made some big changes to the layout of the map. I played a few matches on it, and I was unhappy with the way the games went. Essentially it became a test to see who could get to the central hill first, because as soon as you did you had access to double the resources of your opponent and you had pretty much won already. Another problem was vast amount of oil in the bases. After the hill was taken, it would result in a stalemate with the winning player trying to get into the losing player’s base. It would go on for 10 mins+ because the losing player had the resources to last that long. I’ve reduced the oil pools in the bases to 2, I’ve made taking the hill less advantageous by removing the oil from it, and I’ve added extra areas to the middle ground as a bit of a wild card to see if it makes the map better.
