Wood is aesthetically pleasing, it also naturally beautiful as it was often used as materials for craftspeople. Contrary to common belief, using wood as main material actually increases the forest cover, since the growing demand for sourced wood products can be met with and increase in well-managed plantation. Using material such as wood responsibly will make it renewable. Forest that has regrown will provide a wide range of benefits such as, but not limited to oxygen generation, and habitat for animals. Processing wood is highly energy efficient. Wood can be used in place of other materials like metal, aluminium, and steel, which require significantly large amount of energy and space to produce.

For those who like the look of natural wood but their favorite machine is made from evil metal, this is the texture pack for you.

This texture pack converts every single metal into wood with three new material:
- Pine (Light)
- Mahogany (Dark)
- Default Wood
