Frigate Duel in the Scotia Sea, 2023

This scenario assumes tensions have recently increased between Argentina and the United Kingdom, partly because of the recent discovery of large deposits of valuable minerals in the undersea basins south of the Falkland Islands.

Be aware that your WRA is currently set at Weapons Hold. Weapons will not fire automatically. You will need to manually target and fire weapons, assuming it becomes necessary to do so.
This scenario assumes that Argentina has replaced its aging destroyer fleet with a quartet of fast frigates based on the LCS Independence design. The LCS hull makes an excellent framework for a variety of small future warship classes. As one can see, by sacrificing modularity, one can easily add an acceptable loadout of surface-to-air and surface-to-surface missiles. The large hangar allows the addition of an anti-submarine warfare helicopter and two drones capable of surveillence and light anti-surface missions.
A delta template .ini file has been included in the .zip file to assist in updating the scenario to any future versions of the database.
