Info
"The atmosphere in the original HL2 game was both interesting, and terrefying, and that is the driving force behind our choice on creating a modification on that environment alone. All maps from this modification have a very similar kind of feel of atmosphere and gameplay from the original Ravenholm, but with an different and expanded story, and many new locations. So, you will find yourself battling many more Zombies, Headcrabs, and more."

Instructions
Download and install Ravenholm to sourcemods which is located in:
Steam\steamapps\sourcemods
If you are on the Synergy 4.3 beta, you don't have to do any additional steps other than subscribe to the addon.
Then copy the folder called 692269416 located in:
Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\17520
and paste in: Steam\steamapps\common\Synergy\synergy\custom
Method 2
If you have Synergy installed in the default directory and are running a 64-bit computer, you can use this command in cmd.exe to make it easier:
robocopy /E "%programfiles(x86)%\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\17520\692269416" "%programfiles(x86)%\Steam\steamapps\common\Synergy\synergy\custom\692269416"
^ That is meant to be on one line, copy it, then right click on the cmd.exe window, click paste and press enter.

Dedicated Server Instructions
If you are on the Synergy beta 4.3, you can now add 692269416 to your Synergy\synergy\cfg\workshop_srv.cfg
If you don't have workshop_srv.cfg, just create a new text document and rename it to that.
The content tag and first map is: "rh Ravenholm00"

This is insane, there are so mny zombies in the late game that it becomes insanely difficult to play

I guess it autoconfigured that since I have no memory of doing it myself

That is because it can be configured to be downloadable through Synergy instead of separate install.

In your Synergy custom folder, do you have the 692269416 folder? If not, you have to copy it from the workshop folder over to there. If you do have it, you could try maybe moving the ravenholm.dat from Synergy\synergy\custom\692269416\content to Synergy\synergy\content
Then check in your console when you start up Synergy, there should be a section when you scroll up that has a bunch of green and brownish text saying either:
"ContentLoader[CL]: Found SourceMod 'Ravenholm' in ..."
or "ContentLoader[CL]: Not loading content 'Ravenholm' ..."
There is also a section higher up that says the same thing but with SV instead of CL.
Using the info there, you should be able to tell if it is possibly loading the sourcemods folder from somewhere else that you may have to move or link Ravenholm to.
