描述
The classic Porsche 911 began its life in 1963 and was developed as a more powerful, larger, and more comfortable replacement for the Porsche 356. It featured an air-cooled flat six engine starting with 128 horsepower and a price tag of $6,500. Through its life span, it had gone through multiple iterations of body styles including the Targa, 911S, Carrera RS, and 911E with each model introducing newer components such as new brakes, larger, more powerful engines, and fuel injection. Production of the classic 911 ended in 1989 and replaced by the 964.

Model Specs:
Model and textures were made from scratch using Blender and Gimp. It features illumination, color, and specular masks as well as custom LOD and LOD masks.

Tris: 1402, texture: 1024x1024
LOD: 76, texture 64x64

Looks great I wish it would have different wheels though. They feel weird.

Since I seem to be in the minority about the color of windows and I have a 4 day weekend for fall break, I will go through and see if I can darken the windows for all my models. Updates will come automatically so if anyone reading this between now and Sunday evening and like the model (any of my cars) but not the windows, still subscribe as changes will be made this weekend!

Windows blue color breaks it's good look - it stands out so strangely and makes it cartoonish =,(

Hi Rough World, my plan is to eventually get through the entire Porsche line up (at least all easily distunguishable models). Next up on my immediate timeline is the Cayman, then a couple varients of the modern 911 (991 Carrera, Turbo, and GT3) and after that I will be doing the Cayenne and Macan. Doing buildings is something I would like to look into in the future but that won't be for a while. Stay tuned!

I'm so glad to see, whether it was the motive or not, that you took my recommendation on the classic Porsches! You did an excellent job and I am extremely pleased with the results! I would love to see more from you! A 918, Cayenne, and maybe even an RWB would be awesome! (Incase you need more inspiration)
