MGSV/MGO3 Female DD Sneaking Suit

描述
Fresh from Mother Base, I present a fully-functional, though quirky, Female Sneaking Suit model, with a head bodygroup that allows you to remove the poor woman's head so that you can manually headhack in whatever other character you wish. This particular character/model comes from Metal Gear Solid V, or, more specifically, Metal Gear Online. Inb4 r34

Technical Difficulty:
This is an easy do-it-yourself fix while in SFM, but it's also a weird glitch that is difficult to find a reference for on Google. The model doesn't have an hbox. What does that mean? It means that if the root_transform is outside of the view of the camera, your model disappears due to SFM not rendering things that are outside of a camera's view. The do-it-yourself fix is to put the model's root_transform inside of a place on the model that your scene camera will always be looking at. Say... her breasts. Meanwhile, you can use the root_ground to actually maneuver the model. The moment someone posts a fix in the comments, I'm on it. For now, Google didn't help, and I apologize.

Enjoy!

yea i think ive got it now. That second bone is root ground, and you have to keep using the global move tool to move the root ground so that root-transform will be position at her chest area.
not exactly elegant but works for now. Appreciate the port btw.

So, to clarify, you can use that second bone that moves the entire model to move the model over-top of the root_transform, and the root_transform is still what you'll likely want to use any time you're moving the entire model, but that one other bone is what you'll want to use exclusively to put the model over-top of the root_transform so the model actually stays visible.

Typically, if you move a model with their root_transform, it'll move the entire thing, which is the case with this model. However, it has another bone in there that's technically subordinate to the root_transform, but will also move the entire model. I can't remember the name of that bone, it's been a long time since I've messed with this model at all. Apologies for the problems with it, but I never did find the time to dig into fixing it at all.

how do i relocate the model's root_transform to somewhere else? great model though, a shame it keeps disappearing when camera is focused somewhere else besides rootransform

How do you move the root_transform to another place within the model?

oh, either it was like that and nobody noticed, or Im as blind as a fucking bat cuz I didnt notice the fix was already there

I noticed that after I fixed the size with scale controls, the model disappeared at certain angles. I figured out that the reason it disappears is because the root transform is not in the camera. So by manipulating the hips root, I can get the model to appear when it's not entirely on camera, or not even on camera. Please make note of this if you haven't already to help the angry people who think the model is broken :steamhappy:

Could this please be fixed? Because it's way too small, and when ever you look closer to it, it disapears.

Please fix it. Some how.

The model is tinier than I thought.
