Hint: If the mod is out of date, simply hit the check box in the launcher called "Enable out of date mods". This mod doesn't change a whole lot and it doesn't break with new updates.

This is a simple mod that unlocks a handful of factions for use in custom battles. The factions are:

Altdorf (Empire)
Averland (Empire)
Hochland (Empire)
Middenland (Empire)
Nordland (Empire)
Ostland (Empire)
Ostermark (Empire)
Stirland (Empire)
Talabecland (Empire)
Wissenland (Empire)
Marienburg (Independent)
Border Princes (Independent)
Tilea (Independent)
Estalia (Independent)
Kislev (Independent)
Bastonne (Bretonnian)
Bordeleaux (Bretonnian)
Carcassone (Bretonnian)
Parravon (Bretonnian)
Lyonesse (Bretonnian)
Barak Varr (Dwarfs)
Karak Kadrin (Dwarfs)
Karak Ziflin (Dwarfs)
Zhufbar (Dwarfs)
Kraka Drak (Dwarfs)
Black Venom (Greenskins)
Crooked Moon (Greenskins)
Orcs of the Bloody Hand (Greenskins)
Mousillon (Vampires)
Varg (Norsca)
Skaeling (Norsca)
Baersonling (Norsca)
Bjornling (Norsca)

As of right now, the factions just use units copied from their parent faction, so the Imperial provinces, Marienburg, and the Border Princes all use Empire State Troops. Mousillon uses the Vampire Counts. The only real difference is their color schemes and their legendary lords.

If you want to see any other factions in Custom Battles, let me know and I'll unlock them. They won't have any special units as of right now though, since this mod does not add any new units to the game.

Since you refer to an unlocker mod, it would be a good idea to update that link to a more current version like my mixed unlocker version here: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=747197329

The original has been broken since a long time and isn't getting updated anymore.


My mods also includes most factions being available for Custom Battles (optimized for 1920 x 1080) minus some minor Greenskin factions to have all of them fitting on the screen, while everyone who only wants the Custom Battle unlocking functionality without the campaign faction unlocking should be fine with this one.

Several of the more recently added dwarf holds don't have units showing. Also can confirm I have the same issue as Anybody with Amber Wizards being bugged (either showing Volkmar's unit card under lord or otherwise showing a weird unit card with their cost set to only 250). Other than that the mod is working great

Is it possible for you to unlock all of the sub-factions to play because there is quite a few not there and it would be nice to have even more to choose from in custom or has the mod died??
