Fucking New Guy

F.N.G. is a new GTS Perk
This unlock, when purchased, improves training at your GTS.
You can now rank your soldiers directly to corporal rank or higher.

These GTS Perk are meant to be a safety net for campaigns where your squad gets wiped.
As a result, F.N.G. perks become available as your soldiers die, and not as your soldiers level up.

The unlocks are based on total killcount between all dead xcom operatives.
So a dead colonel will contribute more to unlocking F.N.G. perks than a dead captain.
You can't cheese this system by sacrificing a bunch of worthless rookies.

Firaxis implemented, and then disabled a GTS perk called "F.N.G."
Presumably short for F***ing New Guy.
This perk would have turned all your rookies into squaddies automatically.
They probably disabled this perk because it didn't interact well with the new GTS mechanic they added.
So I made a GTS perk that did something similar, but did interact with GTS rookie promotions, and kept the name + art assets from Firaxis's F.N.G. Perk.

I know not all of you will be keen on the idea of needing to lose soldiers to get these unlocks.
So you can change the FNG perks to unlock based on soldier rank instead of soldier death.
