Hey, Scoulkeeper, I know realism is a thing I enjoy too, but why not just enjoy that it's a neat and low-poly model? Not to mention the idea that in the future, we can create either:

A: A means to make a handheld railgun with no /VISIBLE/ transistors.

Or

B: A means to make a handheld railgun with NO transistors.

Not every model is made equal, just as not all mods are made equal.

Also, I don't think you're thinking of the right thing. I believe you mean "Capacitors". Transistors amp / transform power from one electronic signel to another. A Capacitor stores energy for later use.

@Donut5626 it is, it was a request on the the watergun page, and he made it based off of the GTA 5 weapon
