"AT 30,000 FEET… you are almost 6 miles (9.7 kilometers) above sea level. The human body is not made for these conditions.

Temperatures can plummet to -60F (-51C), the brain is starved for oxygen and each step is a new experience in pure agony.

It’s difficult to breathe. It’s difficult to think. It’s difficult to move. And you still have to endure another 444 feet (0.14 kilometers) to get to the peak.

So much for the good news.

The rebels are losing the battle against the strider onslaught that keeps growing. To help turn the tide of war you need to destroy the source of the Striders. That source is at the summit of what the rebels call, Strider Mountain. There is only one way to get into the mountain geography and it’s extremely dangerous terrain. The danger proves to be too much and you are forced way off target. Now, you must fight your way through the Combine Mountain Base Camp because it’s the only entry to the mountain. As Gordon Freeman, you must survive the summit and destroy the source of the Striders."

Download and install Strider Mountain to sourcemods which is located in:
Steam\steamapps\sourcemods
If you are on the Synergy 4.3 beta, you don't have to do any additional steps other than subscribe to the addon.
Then copy the folder called 689508204 located in:
Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\17520
and paste in: Steam\steamapps\common\Synergy\synergy\custom
If you have Synergy installed in the default directory and are running a 64-bit computer, you can use this command in cmd.exe to make it easier:
^ That is meant to be on one line, copy it, then right click on the cmd.exe window, click paste and press enter.

Right click on the finder icon and click "Go To Folder" and type in:
In this folder you will find common, sourcemods, and workshop. Download and extract Strider Mountain to sourcemods, download this addon and copy the folder in workshop/content/17520 under the name "689508204" to: common/Synergy/synergy/custom and when you start up Synergy, you should be able to see Strider Mountain in Create Server and also be able to join servers that host it.

If you are on the Synergy beta 4.3, you can now add 689508204 to your Synergy\synergy\cfg\workshop_srv.cfg
If you don't have workshop_srv.cfg, just create a new text document and rename it to that.
The content tag and first map is: "strider 1_sm_off_course"
