Due to a grievous typo, I hade to rename a lot of things (I forgot an e in Wookiee) so if the next patch breaks your game, here is a permanent link to 1.0. Apologies for any trouble thats caused, but better it gets fixed now than later.

Compatibility: Stellaris 1.0.3

Current Mod Additions:
  • Adds prescripted Wookiee Empire
  • Adds 1 custom graphic to be used for pops/leaders (more otw soon)
  • Inital mod framework
  • Custom Leader names and some planets (still using a lot of MAM1 as placeholder)
  • Custom Traits

!!!! Please Note !!!!
This is a very early stage mod and progress will be made in quick, small increments. I have every intention on fleshing this out to the max over time. If you would like to follow development on the mod and see whats coming up next, follow the mod at its Trello board:

This will also be used as a primary avenue for taking suggestions or crowdsourcing ideas/name submissions, etc. Steam comments are welcome as well.

Also, the ethics and government type will be customized to better fit the wookiees. (along with many other changes)

i think your on a good trail Mr.T-XP . Though science -20% might work too for a negitive. keep up the good work:steamhappy:

So, I would like thoughts/criticism on these ideas for bonuses as far as ethics/traits/govt go. This is what im thinking so far.

Positive bonuses
+significant army damage (30%-40% overall, figure thats a given)
+lifespan (want to keep the +200 wookie lifespan)
+morale
+less anomaly fail chance/faster anomaly research (as a replacement for materialist)
+Special defensive army unit buildable only by wookies. Way more health, some additional damage, less maintenance, trains faster, high morale.

Negative
+25% building cost/speed (since they are lower tech from what i know when it comes to infastructure)
-50-40% growth rate (i know this penalty is large, but i want it to offset some of the heavy bonuses to their ability to defend, i feel like they should grow slowly as a result)

Portraits are missing/bugged.
Ingame(new game) there is no Picture of the Wookies, only the Wookie Empire itself is there.
Seems that this picture files are empty or corrupt with your new uploaded Version.
