R.A.G.E. Suit Unlocks Heavy Weapons

描述
Adds the R.A.G.E. suit as an alternate requirement for the Experimental Heavy Weapons project in the Proving Ground, and the same for its upgrade/Powered Weapons, so after you upgrade the suit you don't have to also build a W.A.R. suit just for the sake of this.

Note that the game won't tell you it's been unlocked, but you can check the Proving Ground to see that it is.

Can be enabled or disabled at any time.

Just FYI, I got the RAGE Suit quite late in this campaign, already having unlocked Heavy Weapons.

When I made the Suit (or upgraded it, it was a few days ago this happened) I got another message saying Heavy Weapons had been unlocked.

Well I specifically made it because I didn't get Experimental Powered Weapons until I built a WAR Suit, and it felt kind of arbitrary. It turns out that the DLC already adds these as alternate requirements for their respective projects so I think maybe the one for EPW is bugged.

It would explain why I didn't have to mess with the original requirements for them like I thought I would have to in order to get this to work.

I don't have this mod, but I got access to Experimental Heavy Weapons when I built the RAGE Suit. Haven't tried it for the RAGE Armor, though.

50 seems a bit much, i'd max out at 12, like the old jetpack armors. ridiculously overpowered on a melee-centric mod class like the Samurai....also great too though. ADVENT Sniper a third of the map away on a roof behind high cover: "hah, stupid XCOM!" *hears jetflare behind him seconds before being sliced in half.*

@Arkhangel I thought of the same but you can edit the shadowfall skill and the icarus jump in the ini file. I changed mine so my soldier can use like 50 jumps in one mission and the shadowfall is useable repeatedly too. I just have problems to find the Rage armor and viper king suit skills :I

Try the Uniforms mod. It has a bug/feature where if you create a uniform in one set of armour and then assign it to a soldier wearing another set it overwrites the appearance without overwriting the stats. I use the Kevlar appearance for T2 in this way (T1 is Resistance Warrior).

now if they'd only make a mod that makes the Rage armor's melee usable repeatedly.
