Amazonian Alliance

In this alternative Earth, the Amazonian tribes of Northern Africa were quite real and they established control over the entire planet. These tribes were unique in that they were ruled by women rather than men. The Greek attempt to subjugate their tribes ended in horrible failure and convinced the Amazonians that the only way to preserve their way of life was to bring everyone under their control. They quickly conquered the Greeks and adopted their ideas of civilization with an Amazonian twist. Eventually, they established complete control over the planet.
