Real Holodeck

Kuvaus
The holodeck from Star Trek: The Next Generation

Proper 3d model of the holodeck with baked physically raytraced lighting and subtle detail. It is designed to be accurate to the show and give the proper feel that you just walked onto the holodeck and are ready to load a program.

Things to update in the near future:
- Update arch texture to be more accurate and add extra details like a LCARS screen.
- Eliminate all seams on door model to eliminate background leak. (use a dark or black background for now if it’s an issue)
- Rerender at a higher sample rate to reduce noise in dark areas.

Enjoy!

Does this still work? It disappeared from my settings and I can't figure out how to get it back.

IUPUI uses this. Their VR lab has a plaque by the door that has the Holodeck label and when you put the Vive on, this is what you see. Outside of it being Star Trek themed, this is great because it doesn't move, it has enough detail to not break immersion (and therefore cause VR sickness), and is very solid and grounded (which also helps to stop VR sickness).
