Daiteikoku Portraits

描述
Well we can all agree that the TL project for Daiteikoku is dead, but why let that stop us from enjoying 2D space commies and space imperialists? This mod adds a large chunk of the assets of Daiteikoku as new playable races (over 130 portraits).

Daiteikoku is a japanese game based on a WW2 space parody.

Races that were added:
- The Empire of Aeris (includes her colonies and O'france)
- The Third Reich of Dokutsu (includes Itarin)
- The Republic of Gamerica (includes Canada)
- The Empire of Japan
- The United Human Organization of Soviet (incldes the Empire of Chun)
- C.O.R.E.

Also included are Rance, Gua Maral, and Alwilda are leaders that are recruitable to all factions except C.O.R.E.

Features:
- Seperate appearance category for the 6 new races
- Portraits exlusive to leader slots, while generic portraits will only appear in population slots, along with a mix of others
- Species class: Species prefixed with "DTK - " will spawn randomly and have corresponding thematic names
- CORE featured as a machine race for Synthetic Dawn DLC

I tried to play it after a long time, but unfortunately it was not reflected.
I am sorry to ask for your help, but I would really appreciate an update to the current environment.

--What I will do though (aside from this message here where I'm letting you know you shouldn't wait for help that might not be coming and thus you'll be wasting your own time) is wish you luck on getting it all figured out and sorted. It really shouldn't be overly difficult to fix, given what you've described so far.

These problems you're describing almost certainly aren't because of this single mod. Or any mod, in fact. They're entirely on your end and are most likely related to a problem with your installation of Steam, a problem with your OS/a conflicting program running on it, or some combination of all the above.

If this mod's author wants to keep helping you out, that's very nice and generous of them indeed. However, it's certainly not their obligation to do so anymore, since as I mentioned it's almost definitely not merely their mod at fault for your most recent reported issues. So I would suggest you get to work on looking for a solution on your own in the event the author, quite understandably so, doesn't feel like continuing to troubleshoot those issues for you.

I'm also not interested in troubleshooting those problems for you either, at the moment, before you ask. That's something reserved almost exclusively for my friends; people I know and like.

Sorry this is an issue on your end. That error indicates Steam failed to download all the components of the mod. Try unsubbing, deleting the folder at E:\steam\steamapps\workshop\downloads\281990\685145400 and then resubscribe to trigger the download again.

Unfortunately I do not have the original assets I extracted anymore as it has been a very long time. I only maintain compatibility of this mod at this point.
