Mario Kart: Cheep Cheep Beach

Tabletop MarioKart is back with a brand new board based of Cheep Cheep Beach from Mario Kart DS, featuring two brand new items!

Players: 2-8
Set-up time: 30 seconds
Play time: ~45 minutes, depends on # of players

This is a hand-made board game built from the ground up for Tabletop Simulator. This specific board is the second of the series, and is based off the track Cheep Cheep Beach from Mario Kart DS and remade in Mario Kart 8.

This custom board game includes:

*12 unique custom item cards, introducing the new Bob-omb and the POW block items!

*A hand-drawn track, Cheep Cheep Beach from Mario Kart DS! Don't forget your lotion!

*A custom beach scene background to set the mood!

*12 awesome characters! Unfortunately, we still have Waluigi.

*Still with lap counters! Continue to never lose track!

*No music, no bleeding eardrums!

*Same great innovative gameplay and rules, use items and bump other players!

*Includes the additional ways to play from the original!

A quick guide to the ruleset is located in the "Rules" section in the Notebook, give it a read before revving your engines. For the full expanded ruleset, please download the original Mario Kart: The Board Game mod, located on my workshop or in the Tabletop Mario Kart Collection.


Before playing, be sure to SHUFFLE both item decks!

1. Everyone choses their character from the character select and places them on the START space. (The space with the checkered flag)
2. There are two phases in the game. The first is MOVEMENT phase. Everyone rolls a die and moves their pieces along the board, at the same time. Then, move on to the next phase.
3. The second phase is the ITEMS phase. All players with items may choose to use their items. These items may take effect now, or during the next MOVEMENT phase. The cycle of MOVEMENT and ITEMS repeats for the entire game.
4. If you land on or pass an ITEM BLOCK space, pick up an ITEM BLOCK card from the appropriate item deck. (Explained in "ITEMS")
5. The first person to pass the finish line 3 times wins the race! (Keep track of your laps with the included bowl of counters)
