On your long way home you had the idea to take a nice shortcut – great idea !!! now you are completely lost! :-/

The road looks like nobody drove on this road for hundreds of years…. but! how is this possible? Who did build an asphalt road in the back of beyond?!

Something is very strange and mysterious in these mountains! There a palm trees and a nice bay, as well as high snowy mountains and clear cold lakes. There are old castles and rotted military bases between deep old forests.

…finally you step out of your car and realize that you found the long forgotten valley of....

*** K I T E S C H ***

So take on the chance! Become major and build up the greatest cities of all time in these rediscovered mountains!

Map characteristics
- a breathtaking scenery :-)
- temperate map
- very interesting terrain, ideal to use the new features of CS like the ingame terrain editor or water structures
- different fauna in different areas of the map
- full potential of outgoing connections
- all resources
- is optimized to be played with 25 tiles
- playable without mods

I would recommend using the theme ! It just looks better :steamhappy:

Hi DavidVI, the map should work withou any problems without theme, but than you have sand on the mountains but snow ;-) If you do not like to play with a theme you coulkd also just load the map in the map editor, remove the sand (snow) from the top of the mountains, save local as a "new" map, and play.

Does no theme really ruin it? It loads fine for me (I do get the theme warning but the map looks fine!).. I'm not sure I understand?

Hi Oldhip, thanks for the info - but I never found out why some people have problems with themes, while others don't :-(.

Yep no map theme ... suggest you fix it or remove, shame as a great map

This map theme doesn't work either! Same problem as Spring Valley. I'm starting to suspect that it breaks when you update the map without also updating the map theme, for some reason.

THANKS for a great map! I usually go for maps with wide expanses of flat plains, and decided to try your map for a change. Your map is very refreshing to play. I love the waterfalls, the hills, the flowing streams of fresh water. It presents a totally different challenge to play. Great Work!

Stunning. One of the better maps I've seen! A lot of beautiful views which give me ideas of city planning.
