NO MODS 100% Vanilla


The Mikara FA-2 Is an atmosphere capable variant of the Mikara Fighter. It was designed by Rangatira Industries as a medium fighter craft to be used in tandem with the Kaikohuru Cruiser. Note, this craft can fly in both the vacum of space and the atmospheres of planets, however it is not as fast or manuverable as its Mikara FV-3 counterpart. The Mikara FA-2 can go from atmosphere to space from a 1g world using Atmospheric thrusters at first, then combin ion and atmos, then relying solely on ion.

Hello!
Great work on this ship, Im loving the aestethics and also the driving. I will use it on survival for sure, but theres a mess with those 27 small reactors.

I made a rework in the insides to take out many small reactors and conveyor connectors and insert just one large nuclear reactor. It still works the same but now its easier to refill just one reactor with uranium. I had to extend a little bit the frame to make it fit and give some protection to the big reactor, but even with that, now the ship has lost 6% of its weight.

I'll be glad if you want to post my variant in your workshop, just tell me how can I give you the BP.

sketchfab for the 3d model. and imbedding images in the description through formatting text the right way. It can all be googled pretty easily. Me describing it on here is a little difficult haha.

to solve the hydrogen booster problem i just add more large ions. for a craft of this size 2 should be enough
