Briefing:
As you are already aware, the Cthonian Stargate technology siezed on Venus appears to allow instant interstellar travel. We took immediate advantage of this and launched an expeditionary force to the other side of the stargate, and it appears the CCA did the same some time before our arrival. This expeditionary force reported that the world on the other side is the seventh moon of a large gas giant, and has temporarily been designated Alpha VII.

The outpost set up by this expeditionary force was recently destroyed, most likely by the CCA. Fortunately for us they did not locate our launch pad, so we can redeploy our forces straight away. You are to lead our counter-attack with the Recycler Georgia, which is to deploy at the site of the outpost. Escort it to the deployment site and use it to destroy the CCA. Take care; the CCA has likely made efforts to impede your progress, and there were signs of Fury activity on the planet some time before the initial attack.

Information:
Sequel to Stargate. This updated redux version of Alpha is part of Battle Grounds for Battlezone 98 Redux. It features a new set of terrain textures and three new sky objects, and is the first published map to include these elements. Mapmakers are free to use these assets for their own maps provided the Heracles Brigade are credited.
