Awesome Rocktopus

描述
Super duper rocktopus.

Originally the Roctopus was a terribly nerfed unit much to the disappointment of many gamers. The info didn't make it clear it was unlike any other orbital in the game able to launch in place even outside your orbital coverage or that it could perform its own anti-orbital strikes.

In Rising Tide, Firaxis had quietly buffed the unit...but nobody noticed, given the slew of new, interesting and more practical hybrid units like the Golem and Aqualon.

This mod hopes to make the Rocktopus an interesting unit again by making it faster and giving it a phasal transport ability, albeit with a nerfed orbital range. So now you can move a Rocktopus to your frontline, clear out any enemy orbitals, launch it and teleport your army into battle.

LOVE your mod. My only beef is where it is at. Could you move it to a earlier tier? Pretty please with sugar on top!

Should make wild versions with different colours to match the other wild aliens biodome colour themes. etc Lush, fungal, and arid.

@Celjaded I think they reduced the affinity level a bit and increased the movement to 2. I recall it originally had only movement of 1. Honestly though I don't remember!

Nice work! Just out of curiosity, what did Firaxis change about the Rocktopus in Rising Tide? I never noticed anything in the official patch notes.

I suppose it is a hover unit and it should be able to defend itself being such a behemoth. I just don't wanna make it too OP.

Personally, I think the biggest weakness of the Rocktopus is its low combat strength. Any attack will instantly kill it. This is more a general problem with oribital units though.
