Hey man, just played your level twice and I must say it is amazing what you did, even without the ability to spawn real trees you made your own ones with blocks. The amount of creativity overall in this level is amazing.
The level style is great, because I prefer when the solution is not quite clear and you have to figure it out for yourself.
I am making kind of pretentious levels as well haha (I even tried to do a completely Sandbox one)
But regarding the lightning bug, I'm pretty sure you can fix that now. If the lightning got corrected this level would be a solid 10/10
Thanks for your time :)

Rest assured, there are no more secrets to be found in my level.
I played a bunch of fun levels, you should just give some random ones a try. Another good idea to search the discussion forum for the level creation contest thread. It had some decent participants, especially the winning map, Dropoff, was pretty awesome.

I didn't know about that bug in the editor, but I can totally understand your frustration about it. It's a pity the devs never fixed it, because it probably discouraged a lot of people. Who knows with what ingenious levels people would have come up with had the devs fixed it. Having said that to be honest I didn't notice it in the custom levels. I was probably too focused on level design, architecture, finding my way and the secrets that I just didn't pay attention to it. And also I finished the main game month before playing the community levels, so my recollection of the ambience in the main game isn't that fresh anymore. But now that you told me about it, when I played again today I immediately noticed it.

By the way, can you recommend any other custom levels to me. So far I only played a couple of them namely all the levels created by Mrs. Ellie and now yours?

Well, now that you've explained it, I remember I came across the Gravity Cube Glitch a few times (also in other custom levels). For me it is more of an annoyance and whenever it happens I restart from the last checkpoint, because like I said I dislike cheating and also it would make things way too easy, at least until you completed a level 100%. Afterwards I'm sure it can be fun.

Thanks a lot for the compliment! Makes me so proud. :)

On the other hand I'm so embarrassed that I hadn't found the second black pyramid. So very easy to find. I had just completely forgotten about that door.

And now, there being already two black pyramids, there's probably a third one to find as well. Means more exploring for me to be done. Yeah.

Jumping up almost vertical walls would have never crossed my mind as it in a way goes agaist my understanding of the game's logic. Would probably have felt like cheating to me. But now that you, being the creator of this level, have mentioned it I will most certainly give it a try.

Sadly, I didn't create any other levels. I had fun ideas, but never realised them for several reasons, including time and editor limitations. However, the biggest reason for my discouragement was a bug in the editor. The ambience of the game is great and I wished to retain it in my level. In the editor, everything works fine and I loved the soothing setting I was ble to create. However, playing any custom level in the main game comes with strange occurances: Among less annoying tidbits, the light settings are completely nullified. No colored light, no light direction, and, worst of all, no shadows, so in the case of my level, no peaceful sunset. I don't know if you noticed it, but no custom level has shadows. It creates a really alienating feeling and takes a big chunk out of the experience, for me at least. It felt like such a disappointment to play my level without that aspect that I didn't really bother putting anything else out there.

About the Gravity Cube Glitch: With specific timing the player can pick up a placed gravity cube while inside its area of effect and retain the low gravity jumps for the remainder of the level or until death. If you didn't jump all over the place in low gravity, you didn't use it (it can be really fun, though).

Looking at the screenshots I really have to applaud you. You found great alternatives I didn't have in mind during creation, but I am happy they exist. That's what I love about this game. There are usually a ton of alternative routes if you are creative enough to figure them out. I am especially happy that there is a legit way to reach the black pyramid. I got there without any cubes by climbing angled walls (the game mechanics allow the player to jump up angled walls up to almost 90° I think). Since it was more of an easter egg for crafty explores and I didn't expect people to randomly try to jump up almost vertical walls I didn't mention it and left it for people to find. Same with the second black pyramid, but it is easier to find, however, the player only gets one chance at doing so and should come prepared.

You mentioned that it wasn't very obvious were to go. Yes, exactly. That is what is so great about that level. :) You know I really like hard challenges the most when it comes to puzzle/exploration games. When it's obvious, it's boring. And I also like to explore everything there is to explore. Just one example: When I first made it to the rooftop, I had absolutely no doubt in my mind that I will make it to the top of all the 3 remaining towers if it is possible. Just to have a look, to see what is up there, to enjoy the view...

By the way, have you created any other levels, because I would absolutely love to play them?
