RWBY-Ruby Rose voice (Rochelle)

How to install:


1 - Download and install GCFScape. Link:

2 - Go to:

(C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons\workshop)

Locate the file 671608310.vpk, right click it, and select Open With -- > GCFScape


3 - You'll see a new window. Right click the "sound" folder and choose "extract", and select the left4dead folder:
(C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2)

4 - Now launch your game and open up the console (see below if you don't know how) and type "snd_rebuildaudiocache" (without quotes).
This will open up a loading screen and it will take 5-10 minutes or more to complete, I suggest you leave it be.
When it's done type "quit" (without quotes) in the console.


5- Done






This mod is will fully replace the voice of Rochelle (the entirety of the 2097 sound files of her voice) for the one of Ruby Rose from the show RWBY. It is recommended that you download the Ruby Rose model first.

I suggest you create a backup of the voice of Rochelle which is located in:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\sound\player\survivor\voice\producer
Just copy the entire "producer" folder if you wish to back up.


How to unninstall this ?
Verify integrity of game files via steam. It will re-download all the original voices

Additional help:
If you can't make it work you should be able to extract this files in a custom folder, and then copy and paste, replacing the original files in (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\sound\player\survivor\voice\producer)
YOU STILL NEED TO DO THE CONSOLE COMMAND! (snd_rebuildaudiocache) !

How to open up the console (you should google it if you're having troubles)
1- Go to your library on Steam, right click Left 4 Dead, click propierties.
2-In the "General" tab you should see an option "Set Launch Options" click it , and a dialog box will appear.
3-Type "-console" without quotes and the next time you launch the game you should see the console.
4-Type: - bind F6 "toggleconsole" - (WITH the quotes this time) so now you can bring up your console with F6 key.
5-Inside the game, go to Options->Keyboard/mouse->Developer Console and set it to Enable.

How to change your game language:
1-Steam library, right click left 4 dead 2 , and go to properties
2-There's literally a tab named Language, just pick English
