The Prime HUD

Relive your battles from 1998 with the staple interface! This HUD is directly inspired from the original game, while revisiting its style and adapting it for the limits of the “remaster”. It's perfect for nostalgic veterans and sentimental newcomers!

This mod was originally The Classic HUD, which was a more direct conversion of the original game’s HUD. You can still get it from the community flat earther here. Besides the modernized style, this mod also natively supports the 4x HUD scale – in other words, it'll look sharper and smoother at larger scales than other HUDs, even stock!

The Prime HUD also includes heavily improved weapon/targeting reticles and timer, which are also designed for the 4x HUD scale. These reticles are an indirect update for the stock reticles and the HD Reticles mod.

Some HUD elements were inspired by DivisionByZero’s Dot Product, which is my favorite HUD (besides this one, of course). The reticles were partially generated with Maximillian Laumeister's XBR scaling algorithm. Source materials used to make my HUD and reticles are available upon request. Everyone is free to modify and redistribute this mod, with or without permission, but only if I am credited appropriately.
