Okay, first thing, Distance is a racing game. Not a challenge platformer. You should not be putting this much stock in people taking their time and weaving through your crammed together obstacles.
Second, I shouldn't have to use flight in order to get a good time on a track, and I most certainly shouldn't be depending on infinite cooldown in order to get that proper time.
Please, just... okay, first thing you should do is take this track, strip out all the obstacles, and race through it. First thing you should be checking for is if you can maintain a high speed through the track at near all times. Race yourself, get the lowest time you can.
Then start methodically - METHODICALLY - placing obstacles in order to make maintaining that high speed harder. A properly done track, in my eyes, has only a moderate time difference between a no-obstacle run, and a run with obstacles in the way.
