HE-162 "Volksjäger"

Weapon Mapping:

The HE-162 was a fast and lightweight plane for its time period, and I have therefore made the loadout for this plane mimic the FALKE with no extra launch points for weapons (completely non OP). For best effect, I suggest loading the primary spot with a twin gun; the other weapons slots can be filled with any weapon.

History:

By the time the HE-162 Volksjäger was involved in combat, the German Luftwaffe was on the defensive. As materials had begun to grow scarce, the HE-162 was primarily constructed from a wooden frame in order to conserve vital resources for other military uses. The word Volksjäger literally means people's fighter. This name was given to the HE-162 because the German Luftwaffe had lost many of their best pilots by this point in the war and less experienced pilots were required to fly the craft. Nonetheless, the HE-162 was the fastest of the first generation of Axis and Allied jets.
