Auto-Darkening Sunglasses

THIS MOD IS A WORK IN PROGRESS. THINGS MAY OR MAY NOT CHANGE AND FEATURES MAY OR NOT BE ADDED OR REMOVED AS IT PROGRESSES. THERE MAY OR MAY NOT BE BUGS.

100% Clean & stack-able

What this mod does:
This mods adds a pair of craftable sunglasses that lessen the suns glare.
  • Glare reduction only occurs during the day
  • Does not affect bloom, only brightness
  • Turns on and off automatically shortly before sunrise and sunset.
  • This is NOT a skin, it takes the place of your helmet
  • Provides 5 armor
Crafting Info
Unlocks at level 40 for 0 Engram points - Crafts in your inventory
Crafting Requirements:
  • Polymer- 10
  • Crystal - 50
  • Charcoal - 50
  • Electronics - 15
  • Cementing Paste - 10

I'm begging - please update the mod so it works again. I suffer Photophobia - where glaring lights induce headaches. This mod made playing ark POSSIBLE without PAIN while in snow/desert biomes. And let us know where we can donate to you. :)

Hello, find your mod great. Suggestion for improvement: That you can use your sunglasses automatic dimming, as skin and can pull over all helmets for example Tek helmet.

Not sure if this mod is under construction or not, if it is, hopefully you'll read it.
Can't edit my last message and have checked, seem to have one problem with the mod.
I go bald when wearing them for some reason, if it can be fixed would love to see that.
Besides that works like a charm.

Good work but i really wished it was hdr compressed so to not burn out the darker areas of the image.

Using this mod and it works good. However the cost is pretty high and would not work for servers without hugely boosted rates.

i love this mod and it makes a big difference but i do think that it could be just a tad lighter and not as dark a config setting would be great
