How can you challenge a perfect, immortal machine?

The Machine Mother comes to XCOM! This mod uses quotes from both System Shock 1 and 2. These audio files are taken directly from the game files, therefore they are the highest possible quality.

  • Usable with Female and Male soldiers
  • Should be compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux builds of the game

Wanted to use the voice with a certain templar helmet, but unfortunately seems like it doesn't work for them.

The voice is so quite compared to the rest of the game, and especially compared to other voice packs. Either can't hear this one or get deafened anytime anyone else speaks.

tdc, you mind doing a wotc "spark" version for those of us afraid of screwing up the code if we manually do the tutorial?

Hi Sirabot, yes unfortunately Firaxis have changed the way voice packs work with SPARKs. If I update my mods to work with SPARKs, they stop working for normal soldiers.

However there is a very simple way to make this mod SPARK compatible yourself as I explain here:

Then if you ever want to revert back to use the mod of normal soldiers, either remove that added text or redownload the mod files from here. Hope that helps.

This isn't working for Sparks in WoTc. In fact most voice mods for Sparks aren't working except the 2 that have been updated. I'd really like to utilize this one however :p

They don't make female characters like this anymore. Such a shame.
