描述
Won the league in my first season using this tactic with Leicester, buying nobody and only using the players they currently have.

This was developed on the latest football manager patch update that included the winter transfers.

Tactic:

This is a 4-4-2 Ranieri inspired tactic that likes to play direct and on the counter.

Pre-season make sure the tactic is well trained.

Have only tried this with Leicester so far so don't know how it will perform with other teams but I think it would work even better with a taller stronger striker next to the Vardy-like striker.

Wingers will need a high crossing ability and preferably all/most players should have a high work rate and teamwork attributes.

If your assistant is telling you that you are winning most of the headers in the match, add on the Hit Early Crosses instruction from the sideline.

What do you mean, when you talk about "train this in pre season". What is your trainingset or how do you train it "well"

i have started using the tactic and played well through pre-season...have adapted it into a 3-5-2 with WB and DM but it has meant dropping mahrez or using him as a striker...5 goals in 3 games though so isnt too bad a compromise ha ha
