Hillsborough-class Destroyer (Small Grid)

The Hillsborough-class destroyer is a heavy escort classification in the UNSC Navy. It is best suited to direct ship combat and assaults.

History
While rather ancient, the Hillsborough is a simple and fairly effective destroyer design with good armor and twin MAC cannons. Pre-war time, the Hillsborough was a good ship and extremely tough. It was this durability that allowed the CMA Heracles, the Hillsborough flagship of Battlegroup 4, to survive direct hits from the Covenant ship over Harvest at the start of the great conflict and flee to warn the rest of the UNSC.

Tactics
When fielded in larger numbers, Hillsborough Destroyers can work with cruisers to focus fire on the larger Covenant cruisers and carriers, or protect them from Frigates and strike craft.

To use this ship: Access via antenna or control panel on the "bridge", and remote control.
