Star Wars : T-65 X-Wing open S-foils version - MK III

Many people was asking me about adding a X-Wing starfighter to my Star Wars collection,
but for long time I was afraid, it's not possible to create a good looking 1:1 scale ship.

Well, now, as we have all the new shiny blocks, I did give it a try, here is it ;)

The probably most known Star Wars vehicle after the Millenium falcon.

The T-65 X-wing starfighter.

1:1 scale
length: 12,5 m

3 x generators
3 x fuel tanks
2 x O2 tanks
4 x ammo boxes
2 x cargo boxes
2 x fridge
1 x small constructor
1 x O2 station (droid unit)
4 x plasma cannons


It's flying well and it is fun to fly.

A "must have" for all Star Wars fans ;)

* Special thanks to user Ventus, who continually pushed me to try creating the X-wing. He even was willing to spend his own X-wing creation[empyriononline.com], just to see this ship in the collection. :D

UPDATE 18.05.2016

Redesigned and recreated the ship for EGS Alpha:

* added 2 more fuel tanks
* added 2 more o2 tanks
* added 2 more ammo boxes
* added 2 more cargo boxes
* added 2 more fridges
* added 2 headlights
* covered important block in hardened steel
* fixed texturing and coloring
* the wings/S-foils are now at lower angle, but it seems there are any problems with the bounding box of some blocks, so you stil need a special ramp for docking it.

UPDATE 20.02.2017

Complete rebuild with Alpha 5.x blocks.

* fixed few design flaws
* rebalanced the thrusters
* Most parts now made of hardened steel
* complete retextured and recolored

NOTICE: due to the hardened steel hull, the needed ressources increased a bit !

Thx! I also added credits to you for the Z-95. I completly redesigned it, but i did that at a time where i wasnt thinking about uploading anything. The blueprint still says its your design, so some credits to avoid further confusion...

Hi, want to ask for permission to upload a modified version of your A/V/X-Wing, Cloakshape, Acclamator and MC80 to my server-collection. Need those for a complete collection and i dont see the point of building another one if there is already such great work available.

When the stable version is released and if it's possible to update it without adding visible thrusters. Blame the devs for nerfing the engines.
