IMDC V-24 Albatross Heavy Cargo Dropship

This lightly armed workhorse of the IMDC can easily lift up to 500 tons on 1G planets and leave planets with about 100 tons worth of cargo. It is equipped with only the essential things to get the job done:

4 Small Reactors
1 Cockpit
1 Gyroscope
1 Oxygen Tank
1 Connector
1 Merge Block
1 Gatling turret

Optional: 1 Large Cargo Container

Haha, thank you. Wouldn't have thought that after such a long time these would still be used, but I am glad to hear that.

I still use this ship, it's also a good first ship to build, I often make more large atmo thrusters on the sides to make a wing like shape to lift more and add landing gear but this is a powerhouse frame and remains excellent. Would love an update but honestly not necessary, the poor Puma needs more love anyway.

++ the only ship im missing in the fleet is an planet - space hauler for all goodies needed, maybe modular? for cargo, oxygen, hydrogen, energy (ofcourse only with an mod but an mabye empty module for some special batterys) .. totaly missing this ^^ hope u get it soon .. love your ships since my creation potential is quite limited

Indeed. But I haven’t figured it out yet. A complete redesign is necessary.

@D3TH D34L3R Albatross as in the aquatic bird? Albatross as in the Grumman HU-16 Albatross? People have been naming flying craft after birds long before Halo Wars was even an idea in somebody's head.

Seems like the energy consumption of large turbines have been adjusted, so now the ship constantly overloads. I will try to fix this as soon as I can...
