A note on WOTC Compatibility:
Your mileage may vary... Some report it works fine, others report that it doesn't work once you have the Reapers unlocked. I'm not intending to pick up WOTC, but if someone else wants to make a WOTC version, the original project can be found here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/eclpuy5a7aq90x6/Cat%20Ears.zip?dl=0 All I ask is that you release it to the workshop if you are able to get it working! :3

Quick note since it took me ages to figure why this mod "wasn't working" on my end: turns out it was working fine, but the ears are marked as bVeteran=true , which means that only "veteran" soldiers can equip them. So they just weren't showing up for my test soldiers, because none of them were "veterans".

You can manually edit the XComContent.ini that comes with this mod to make them available to all soldiers - just change the bVeteran=true occurrences to bVeteran=false .

This mod does work with WOTC.

I have the disappearing mod problem as well, but i found a way to make it work if anyone is interested. If you have a soldier saved in the pool from before the option disappeared using the cat ears, you can use that template to have the ears on the soldier and then customize the rest. the head/hat option says it is empty, but the ears will still show, proving the file is still there. it is just a menu error, i suppose? anyway, don't change the head/hat slot to anything else or it will disappear again and you will have to reimport the originial soldier setup from the beginning again.

Hope this helps people who were having trouble to use this mod again. it's one of my favorites. Thanks to the author for crreating it.
