Original (L4D1) Hunter

描述
Just a simple port of the Left 4 Dead 1 hunter model and textures to Left 4 Dead 2.

Unless I'm mistaken, you have to be playing on a server that doesn't have sv_pure set to one to see custom skins/models, so only private servers and (I'm guessing) non-Valve servers will work with this.

If you are interested in other simple ports like this from l4d1, let me know. I tried porting the pistols, but it looks like that is more complicated than just copy and pasting the files.

Is this one with normal map?

i mean I have had L4D1-hunter-mod, but playing as infected he looks weird everytime I move far from him, that werid "legs-from-ass" model appears at a certain distance, but he looks OK at a close distance

Ok, I just tested it out and unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a way to just drag and drop the old files into L4D2. I guess the animation system for view models must be different, as there is supposed to be one extra file that l4d1 doesn't have. So, as I do not know on how to make/update the old animations, and I imagine just copying from the other mod would be frowned uppon, I'm affraid I will be unable to offer the old Versus arms.

@Maksman: I hope he fixed that female boomer texture bug and the hunter animation bug but it looks like he didn't so I'm using this instead. The only problem with this add-on is the arms but I can live with that.

@Basil Fawlty: Will you ever fix the FPS arms by any chance?

No, I might add it later if it's a simple port but for now if you want that you'll have to get the all-in-one mod the person below you linked to.

I did that, several times with several variations, using both the search function on this site and Google, and couldn't find anything.
