*** UPDATED December 29th 2020: fully compatible with Juniez´s Classic Weapons pack, no colliding (muted) sounds. Presentation video partially outdated ***

This sound pack tries to imitate original Hal-Life´s atmosphere. It changes sounds that are tied to their environment such as ambient, alarms, announcement system, retinal scanners, buttons, etc. Also, many item sounds are changed. Each and every sound has been cleared from hisses and scratches and heavily edited. Don´t worry about sound-quality, just watch the video.
- over 30 ambience sounds
- 8 alarms
- Retinal scanners, locked doors
- 8 buttons
- HEV, VOX and tram announcements
- chargers
- flashlight, ammo/battery/health/weapon-pickups
- elevators, doors, some fans
- Pay attention to certain VO´s 
- Visit certain little lab in Anomalous Materials and enjoy the 90´s!
- few sounds changed that are not related to HL or even nostalgia, just because I think they sound better. Don´t worry, you´ll like it… or at least you won´t hate it.

P.S. Constructive criticism and suggestions are always welcome. You don´t have to tell me if you don´t like or don´t want to use this mod, it´s useless information for everyone.

That one containment breech reminiscent far off scream would fit nicely I’m sure you know what I mean it sounds demonic but is clearly human

There's a particular sound that emits when your near some shafts if memory serves, you're going down the monorail I think and you hear like the cries of the damned or something when you stop. But I think the sound was mean't to be used for thriller purposes like the sound of the dying above you. This was in Half-Life Source I think this sound and was literally after the barnacle bit as your rotating downwards.

I think this link will do what I am trying to convey justice. It's since then been used in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games. :) Might be interesting for you to add unless you've already covered it.

any chance of a mod that just changes the vox after being taken over to the one in this pack?
