描述
This mod allows you to respawn as a different character in DST’s Endless mode.

It adds a "Reincarnation Shot" with a configurable recipe difficulty to the Magic Tab. To reincarnate, equip the Reincarnation Shot and use it via right-clicking.

If "Remember player state" is enabled in the configuration, the player's position, crafting knowledge, crafted structures and map discovery (the latter requires A New Reign Beta) will be remembered. If it's disabled, beware: Choose the time and place for your reincarnation wisely, as your character will die and leave everything it owned or learned behind. The reincarnated character will enter the world through the portal as unexperienced as its predecessor once did.

Server tag (can be used to filter servers): reincarnation

Default values are highlighted.
  • Remember player state: Remember the player’s position, crafting knowledge, crafted structures and map discovery. Enabling disables reincarnating in cave/slave shards.

  • Reincarnation Shot recipe
    • Easy: Prestihatitator, 2x Nightmare Fuel, 2x Rot, 1x Stinger
    • Default: Prestihatitator, 1x Booster Shot, 4x Nightmare Fuel, 4x Rot
    • Medium: Shadow Manipulator, 1x Booster Shot, 4x Nightmare Fuel, 1x Purple Gem
    • Hard: Shadow Manipulator, 1x Booster Shot, 4x Nightmare Fuel, 1x Phlegm

I got this when i searched up cutscene

I liked the idea of this mod but never actually got to use it becouse of lack of players. Something in it prevents joining servers with it loaded now, immediately crashing the clients, so I had to untick it.
The moon portal completely replaces it in a more game friendly manner, but its also definately not something you casually build in the first 15 days.
Would still recommend it if it gets fixed.

it does indeed need an update
Plus I enjoyed using this mod
but i cannot until it gets fixed because of the changes with the new update

also I found a bug a while back where it would spawn an extra prefab of your current characters head while the animation plays after using the needle and it would just fly away

but please I would like to use this mod again please update

The mod needs an update due to a recent API change (isSlave() -> isSecondary()), otherwise it will throw an error on the newest troubled waters beta.

if you are maxwell can you leave a codex umbra on the ground and come back as another player and still use it? same goes for wicker, can you make books, put them on the ground, change into another character and use it?
