Mako-class Corvette (Small grid)

The Mako-class corvette is an escort classification in the UNSC Navy. It is best suited to scouting and escort duties. In these roles, it is being replaced by the Stalwart-class light frigate (shown above for comparison).

History
The Mako has a mixed reputation amongst the UNSC for its unfortunate history of commonly being stolen and used by Insurrectionists against the UNSC, as well as being so agile as to make a less experienced crew sick. She is also rather outdated and being replaced by the Stalwart as the latter is more combat effective and can hold more supplies. However, the Mako is amazingly agile, the lightest UNSC ship to be armed with a MAC cannon, and has more jump drives than her successor.

Tactics
While weak in combat against the Covenant, the Mako can easily dodge most kind of attacks, and can "kite" the enemy, ducking in and out of fire disrupting enemy forces. It is also good against small numbers of fighters.

To use this ship: Access via antenna or connector, and remote control.
