Is that moon inhabited by angry Sabiroids? Are you afraid to visit your cousin on that green planet because you might run into sabiroids AND pirates? Still have work to do in those places, dangerous or not? Well, let one of our robotics reps set you up with a sleek new Tin Man. Because of our founder's ever-present fear of robot overlords and the inevitable AI uprising, ST Enterprises pledges for all of its unmanned technology to fall firmly under the control of a human operator. This Tin Man has no need for a heart with you at the controls.
--Tin man functions equally well in the atmosphere of a planet or in the void of space. Be sure to deactivate one thruster package or the other, or you'll waste power!
--Five batteries for hours of use, in-atmo or not.
--Use the forward camera to steer around obstacles in real time--see the world through your Tin Man's eyes.
--The belly camera will allow recon flyovers in hostile territory.
--Recharge Tin Man at any connector on your host ship.
--Use the laser antenna when you need Tin Man to stay hidden OR when you need it to venture beyond the reach of conventional antennas.
--If the going gets really tough, rest in the knowledge that Tin Man can defend itself with twin Gatling turrets.
--If your ammo runs dry, activate the escape thrusters for a burst of acceleration in-atmo. They are even capable of escaping from planetary gravity.
