Forerunner Dreadnought (Shields)

The Dreadnought (not to be confused with the Covenant title for a Keyship) was a capital ship classification in the Forerunner Navy. Balanced in terms of firepower, speed, agility and shielding, the Dreadnought is capable of every task, mostly ship-to-ship combat.

The Dreadnought was the bread-and-butter of the Forerunner fleet. Effective in combat, large numbers were produced. However when the Flood began to spread, a lot of these ships were commandeered by the parasite to further spread the Flood. When the Forerunners self-destructed with the Halo rings, many Dreadnoughts, alongsides mighty Siege Towers, were stored in Apex sites, one of which was found by the Covenant, who wanted the Dreadnoughts to be used for an invasion fleet. Fortunately for humanity, the UNSC Spirit of Fire improvised a bomb to force a nearby star into a supernova, destroying the entire fleet of Dreadnoughts and Siege Towers.

The advanced propulsion allows the Dreadnought to move freely and quickly in all environments, and can hold endless supplies in it's single cargo container (thanks to Singularity tech).

Use the "K" menu to turn off "Advanced Propulsion" so you can perform more fine-tuned movements like docking.
