ASV-Class Super-Cruiser (Shields)

The ASV class super cruiser is a rare specialized capital ship classification in the Covenant Navy. Only encountered once, over Reach, it seems to be designed for long-range ship-to-ship combat.

History
The ASV, also known simply as the Super Cruiser, seems to be the Covenant counterpart of the UNSC's Orion Battlecruiser and is the sniper of the Covenant Navy. The one time the UNSC battled an ASV, they suffered heavy casualties at its hand due to two things: its agility and the plasma lance able to cut even the toughest UNSC ships in half. With these traits, it was able to kill UNSC ships and orbital defense platforms from well out of the latter's range.

Tactics
The ASV has impressive shields and a powerful main gun. However, it has a very narrow firing arc and the ship has few close quarters weapons. Use to take out ships or ODPs from afar or to "kite" the enemy.

A: Affirmation, a ship designed to scout and observe, equipped to detect Forerunner artifacts.
S: Salvation, a dedicated warship able to destroy enemies with a super energy lance
V: Vanguard, a ship deployed during a planetary invasion or bombardment.

This ship is equipped with a projector block. Assign the ship's own blueprint to the projector, activate it, and you can receive complete repairs at shipyards and repair yards.
