Covenant Haven-class Starbase (Shields)

The Haven class starbase is a large space station classification in the Covenant Navy. The single most powerful defensive structure ever used by the Covenant, it used to defend planets and serves as a holy city and hub for fleets.

The Haven, while being a far smaller version, is similar in function and design the Covenant's holy capital city, High Charity. While expensive to deploy, they are also extremely difficult to combat, equipped with the Covenant's strongest shields, a number of plasma beam turrets and torpedo launchers, as well as a massive fixed ion cannon that devestates shielding. Inside the cavernous interior are three landing pads that can host a horde of Seraph fighters or a few CRS light cruisers. It's reactor is reverse engineered from Forerunner tech.

As well as it's impressive defenses, the Haven also can hold massive amounts of supplies, as well as means to produce more, and can cater to an entire fleet. The Haven is also incredibly mobile, equipped with a jump drive and able to move freely in space, giving it the ability to chase targets and hunt down enemy structures in orbit. The Haven is a deadly force to be reckoned with, and should avoided, or destroyed, at any cost.

(As seen on the HUD, this ship's shields give it 1 million protection! These are the strongest shields in the Covenant Navy, only falling short of Forerunner shielding. Shields have a >2 minute full recharge.)
