"be aware that it does not permanently store items in it". This is what confused me. As I read it, I find a reference to storing things but not to actually transferring them.
Regardless, some tests show that it does transfer items and players just as you can at any obelisk. I highly recommend both this mod and SupremeArk Craftable Terminal (only difference seems to be item model) for anyone in single player who would like to be able to transfer between maps without needing to unlock the Tek Transmitter. This is especially important for Aberration, as you can't transfer through loot/supply drops in single player and the obelisks there are a nightmare. Thanks for sharing this!
