While on Earth, Finn was stabbed and hurt multiple times. He kills multiple grounders and he cares deeply for his friends and would do almost anything to protect them. Finn had a brief relationship with Clarke and after they spend the night together he is reunited with his girlfriend Raven. Finn is deeply apologetic, stating to Clarke that he thought he would never see Raven again. Despite this the two end up becoming friends a while later.
