Probably not; if I remember correctly, grass and such can only be added to existing voxel terrain (planets and asteroids). Even then, getting a proper Halo to work would require inverting the gravity, as well as multiplying the size a hundredfold, or else it would only be a few meters wide. A block structure of that size is completely impossible given current PC limitations, but who knows, maybe a planet modder out there may create a full-scale Halo out of planet resources someday.
Do you think it would be possible to use natural materials (such as grass and rocks) to make the surface of the ring ? It would be awesome if we could just be on an artificial world.
