gm_nebulas_playground

A map I created back in early 2009. 03/26/2009 when this was finally compiled. I once wanted to host a server back in my earlier Gmod days, and I wanted a map that had all the features! enough room for some building, Racing, Hoverboards, and just hanging out! That dream eventually died off, but the map managed to live on. and as it did, I gave it the chance to finally be hosted online.

Do note: This map is not very good, but It has heart!

This was created back when I used the name Nebula/NebulaX. This map was pretty hard to get compiled, and there were areas where the lighting was a bit excessive. Maybe someday I'll go back and fix it, but this particular version will and always will be as-is. This is here for safekeeping in case I ever lose the original thing.

I don't expect good ratings. I'm not asking nor do I care. I am ONLY uploading this as it was my first ever creation in Hammer, and it holds a place dear to me in my heart.

I will go over the features

-Water for buildings boats and crafts!
-Race track for racing!
-a garage for building your racecar!"
-An entire hoverboard park! shred it up!
-a pool just for chilling out at!

There are some errors, this was back before I knew how to place props, so I built lamps myself. XD

in one of the corners of the map, there's a wierd area that seems to be "glitched out" stay away from there.
the lighting in the pool was WAY to bright. I've never gotten around to fixing it, and since it's been so long, I don't plan to unless I decide to create a seperate "remaster" version.

I've also created a new remake, but I've never been able to get it to compile properly. I MIGHT add it to this addon here, but it would be fullbright and ONLY uploaded for "safekeeping".

I used to have a Rainbow Road map from the same era, it was so blocky but awesome it had music, atmosphere and just silliness all around, but that's gone forever. only a video exists on youtube anymore, but i DO have a Rainbow Road prop which is much nicer, created in 2012 and is available right now.
