I've upgraded to a new mobo, gpu and cpu...

Mobo : MSI Z97 GAMING 5 ATx
CPU : Intel Core i5-4960 3.50GHz
GPU : Nvidia Geforce GTX 970 4GB

and your level still runs like crap, soooooooo I don't know what to say at this point.

@Pyroco Doesn't depend on how pretty it looks, that's purely subjective ;-) It depends on which objects you use and on your CPU. I have a mediocre setup and can play the level at 50 fps with ultra settings. I used some particles for snow effects and those cost a lot of performance, but it looks cool; so get a better pc or enjoy your cinematic experience :P

This track is super unoptimised. There are pleanty of tracks prettier than this that run at a solid 60. This track got all the way down to a cinematic 15 fps at times.

Alright thanks for the help, I've been meaning to upgrade my CPU soon but I will need to get a new mobo too, I've got my eye on a set I just need the $$$ for it loll

These are my specs, I'm playing on ultra and have around 50 fps on my level:
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4460 CPU @ 3.20GHz
Video Card AMD Radeon R9 280X
Memory 8 GB
Operating System Microsoft Windows 7 64-bit

I asked around and people say that Distance is CPU heavy, so that seems to be the bottleneck, yes. I already used as few performance heavy objects as possible, but I think you might have problems with several levels with that CPU, sorry.

@Acey Sorry :( This is probably because I used some particles for the water at the start and later on some sparks for snow. I have a mediocre machine and every option at max, so it should actually run fine on almost every pc..

This is super laggy on my machine :(

Oop, never mind, I looked at the first video and that's actually intentional.

@LionsPhil Do you play on experimental or an old version of the game? Can't really imagine how that could happen..

The car appears to be spawning underground, beneath the track, for me.
