It'd probably work as a planet composed purely as varying metals (like biomes amirite?)

Angel, I black hole would be awesome, small black sphere with large glowing disk atmosphere would be awesome (with high gravity). If the small black middle was made by low high maps you could even get the "planet center cube block despawn" to work in destroying ships that get to close (its meant to keep things from floating around in the center of planets when they fall though the geometry of the surface.
