Hornet Atmospheric Scout

This is a small battery powered scout craft, equipped with an ore detector, spotlights, remote control system and twin Gatling guns for defence. The batteries provide around an hour of flight at full power, or you can activate the cruise control which applies constant thrust on just one rear thruster, which will effectively double the operational range.

The connector under the nose allows you to dock easily with a ground based connector for refueling and rearming, and also doubles as a handy way to dock the craft for storage. Just unlock and apply upward thrust followed by a sharp reversing thrust to undock.

The Hornet also has two timers blocks inside, which are currently unused.
