Corrected Snap Points

描述
Fixes the snap points on foundations, pillars, and ceilings. No more pillar-nipples or stubbed toes.

Specifically, this mod corrects the positioning of foundation-to-ceiling snap points, pillar-to-ceiling snap points, and ceiling-to-pillar snap points for thatch (foundation only, currently), wood, stone, and metal structures. The fixed structures are remapped replacers, so they will take the place of any newly-crafted items after the mod has been added (existing structures and items will be unaffected).

v1.1 (Nov. 30th, 2015): Added thatch foundation fixes. Tweaked wood and metal pillar snaps and meshes for better fits.

A word of warning. This mod will replace the default pillars, ceilings, and foundations with it's own. This has two effects. First, you will no longer be able to switch newly crafted foundations to "block" mode. Second, the pillars use half as many... but you can't place them in half-high gaps. This makes some building projects completely impossible. Third, if you remove this mod, anything built with pillars, ceilings, or foundations since the mod was installed will be destroyed.

Frankly, I advise against using the mod as the issues it "fixes" are mostly cosmetic and the issues it creates are issues with the way things function (or no longer function, as it were).

I made sure to learn the new engrams, but the recipes for the metal foundation/ceiling/pillar don't show up in my Smithy. Do I need to craft a new Smithy too?

Are you still doing Ark mods? I have a question: does your mod also adds new snap point to ceilings and foundations? In particular, I am in need to mount a pillar not to the center or to one of the four corners of a ceiling or foundation, but to the middle of any of its four edges.

Otherwise, I suggest the idea of a mod that adds HALF and QUARTER ceilings and foundations.

Does this cover the prevention of ladder placements in walls? I can never place a ladder on the side of a wall, it's always inside it?

Damnit, this mod is the BEST, however when removing the mod, it removes all the placed items also.

"Builders Improvements" howerver, does not...such a shame.
