Annoyed with the difficulties of carving a flat surface to build on, or a good roadway through rough terrain for your rovers? Maybe you just need to get to that underground mineral deposit a bit faster? Never fear - the Tunnel Borer (Mark 3!) is here!

Using atmospheric thrusters to hover, the TB3 can carve dead-straight roads and tunnels, while running off batteries that will self-charge when the unit is not in use. An array of ejectors on the rear of the platform sort out and dispose of stone while leaving valuable minerals behind, and a standard connector port allows for docking with other facilities.
